The rate for out-patient treatment is the percentage of a given group in the population who have been treated. The rates are standardized by sex and age, i.e. it has been corrected for the distribution by age being unequal for the different socioeconomic groups. Hence it is possible to compare the groups. The rates are presented as index figures, where the rate for everyone in the age group is set at 100. The table comprises the 20-64 years old.
